The 2012-2013 school year is underway and I am excited to have your child in my classroom! A little tidbit about me is I graduated with my bachelors degree from Bemidji State University, and currently obtaining my masters in Curriculum Instruction from St. Kate's University.  This is my second year here in Verndale teaching fourth grade.  I taught kindergarten for three years at East Central School, Finlayson, MN.  I am married and have a stepson named Houstin who is 8 years old and in second grade.

11:30- 11:45   Silent Reading

11:45- 12:00 Teacher Read Aloud

12:00- 1:00  Math

1:00- 1:30    Health (Mon.) Science and Social Studies (rotate every few units- (Tues., Wed.,Thurs.)  Reading buddies (Fri.)

1:30- 1:40  Library (Fri.) Snack

1:30- 2:00 Spelling (Mon., Fri.) Writing (Tues., Wed., Thurs.)

2:00- 2:10 Fill out planner

2:10- 2:15     Get ready for home

2:15- 3:05 Music/Phy. Ed
