According to Minnesota Statute 120A.03, the goal of public education in Minnesota is to ensure individual academic achievement, an informed citizenry, and a highly productive work force.  Districts are responsible for creating an identifiable process for continuous improvement and annual reporting to the public.

An integral part of that process is the establishment of an advisory committee to ensure active community participation in all phases of planning and improving instruction and curriculum affecting state and district academic standards.

In compliance with Minnesota Statute 120B, Verndale Schools has established a Curriculum Advisory Committee.
